Twenty plus years in international trade of non-GM soyabean by-products — soya flour, flakes, TVP, soya protein, lecithin, organic soyameal and organic spices — combined with on-the-ground techno-commercial expertise in setting up five turnkey projects across India and overseas.
Over the years, the founder has consulted multinationals on business development in India, structured supplier programmes for global food companies, and helped first-generation entrepreneurs translate ambition into running plants, real jobs and real exports.
GEC began on the export side of the soya industry — buying, selling and shipping non-GM soya by-products across three continents. Each shipment was a lesson in specifications, plant capabilities and what buyers truly value beyond the price line on the contract.
The natural next step was to help build the plants behind those shipments. Five turnkey projects later — from TVP and lecithin to full-fat grits and certified organic meal — GEC had become a hands-on partner for entrepreneurs and MNCs ready to invest seriously in India.
GEC is now positioned as a dedicated consultancy — not a trader, not an equipment seller. The job is judgement: pick the right product mix, the right technology, the right team, and the right buyers. Then make sure the project actually gets built and stays competitive.
